  Basic subsystems
Equipment data: stores and handles information about equipment, components, spare parts, nameplates, history, etc.

Assets management:
assets locations, quantities, etc.
Inventory data: completely stores and handle information about all inventory items, receive items, checks them out, etc.
Purchasing: automatic generation of purchase requisitions and orders, ability to send these orders as faxes directly from the program, purchasing history, etc.

Service requests:
processing service requests from departments, tenants or persons, service requests history.
Work orders: creating work orders with all necessary data, keeping work orders history, etc.
Scheduling: the system schedules requested works by specifying days of the week and hours.

Statistical predictive maintenance:
helps to predict failures before an actual break down of an equipment
Employee and labor: information about firm’s stuff, i.e. names, experience, wages, etc. and their current occupation.
Budget: budgeting information, i.e. tracking projected and actual costs and analyzing their discrepancies.
Analyzing of main subsystems working results.
Security: total security allows to check a behavior of any field on any form depending on the current user rights.
  Complete set of service utilities.
Approx. 200 predefined reports with ability to create arbitrary charts.

  Operating modes
Standalone mode: all data and programs are placed on a single computer. This mode is acceptable for small enterprises and is set as an initial mode up.
Client – server mode: data are mainly stored on a central server, while clients’ computers store only interface part of the software and some temporary or client-specific tables. In this mode 3-tier scheme is implemented by using a business rules standalone server that works independently from both the client and server parts as any application can register itself as a client of this server and use its business rules.
User always begins its work with the system in a single mode and at any moment can switch to the client-server mode and back. Special upsizing and restoring procedures are implemented to provide it.

  Sofware used
Main part of the system is written in Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6.0 but it contains also a part in PL/SQL for Oracle (for the upsizing).
